On Sunday, October 1st, A Sisters Promise will host a walk and event in honor of their sister, Trisha Kunze, who they lost to domestic violence on 02/13/2022. This event will be at Riverview Park, DSM. The walk will begin at 1 pm, speakers and kids’ activities will begin at 2 pm. Multiple agencies will host tables to share information about domestic violence services in the state of Iowa. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Reese’s Roadside Eats & Treats food truck. There is also a “New Beginnings” drive to accept donations for survivors starting over.
