Veenker Memorial Golf Course – Iowa State University

Host of the Iowa Masters of Golf Tournament since 1938, Veenker Memorial Golf Course is a premier public golf facility owned and operated by Iowa State University.  Veenker lies on the north edge of the Iowa State campus and is laid out along the Squaw Creek and accompanying bluffs. The course is traditional in style with tree lined fairways, many target style greens and several interesting carries. Come test your skill on the home course of the Iowa State Cyclone Golf Teams. Veenker has recently (fall of ’08) converted all fairways and tees to bentgrass and has regrassed all the greens as well and is a “must play” for all.  Veenker offers a full range of golfing activities for the enjoyment and benefit of Iowa State students, faculty, staff, friends of ISU, and the City of Ames.  As they say, “The Veenk, it’s a Midwest Golf Tradition!”
