Noah Kahan has set April 13 as the release date for Noah Kahan: Out of Body, a new documentary headed to Netflix. The film arrives after its SXSW Film & TV Festival debut and opens a more personal chapter in the singer-songwriter’s story.
The documentary follows Kahan through roughly a year and a half of life after Stick Season turned him into a major name. As his audience grew and tours sold out, the film tracks what happened away from the stage. It shows him returning to Vermont, spending time with family, and trying to reconnect with a sense of home while facing the pressure that came with sudden success.
The project also looks at more private parts of his life, including mental health, self-image, and the challenge of speaking openly outside his music. Director Nick Sweeney frames the story around that tension between public momentum and a quieter inner life.
For fans, the film offers a closer look at the period between Kahan’s breakout rise and whatever comes next.
